6.7MW/13.4MWh Energy Storage Project at Shipbuilding Facility

A 6.7MW/13.4MWh distributed energy storage power station has been successfully completed, connected to the grid, and is currently operating stably and efficiently. Located within a shipbuilding facility in the Taicang Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, the project covers approximately 800 square meters. It adopts a highly integrated containerized installation method with a total capacity of 6.7MW/13.4MWh. The energy storage system is divided into two groups (each 3.35MW/6.7MWh) and is expected to regulate approximately 7.8 million kWh of peak-valley electricity annually.

Tailored Solution Based on Customer's Energy Profile

Furen Energy designed the storage power station based on the customer's specific electricity consumption characteristics and needs. The facility has an annual electricity consumption of approximately 45 million kWh. By analyzing the customer's usage and demand charges, Furen Energy precisely calculated the optimal storage scale to ensure high utilization of the configured equipment. The system fully leverages peak-valley price differences by charging during off-peak hours and discharging during peak periods, effectively smoothing costs and generating profit through "peak-valley arbitrage."

Estimated Annual Savings of Approximately $630,000 USD

Based on a two-cycle-per-day charging and discharging operation, it is estimated that the project will save approximately 4.6 million RMB (about $630,000 USD) in electricity costs annually. This project demonstrates Furen Energy's ability to deliver tailored, high-utilization energy storage solutions that provide significant economic returns for industrial customers.
